Hi, I’m Glen with Royal Apparel, this is customer feature story with Bethany Lyons, co-founder of the Lyons Den Power Yoga studio.
Bethany is a celebrity in the yoga world, and this is a heated yoga class, where the heat is turned up like 90 degrees plus.
Lyons Den Power Yoga is like, yea, we’re a Yoga Studio, but we’re also a lifestyle brand. When people come in here, they want branded gear, they want it to say “Lyons Den Power Yoga”, and want it to say “lionness”, they want it to say what they’re about.
You say some of our shirts are like trophies. Yea, we did a 40 days program, and after the 40 day program, we had shirts that say “Crushed It”. The style I’ve always taught is Baptiste Yoga, and it’s a powerful athletic physical practice.
I’m a student in your class, but we’ve been friends for like 10 years, when I used to take your spin classes. I launched a class called Yoga Pride: spin class first, then you do yoga.
“Glen, you got to come to the yoga portion”, “Mm, yoga is not for me.”
“Yoga, it’s not a workout is it?” Just come on in, and you can’t tell me, 10 minutes in, it’s not a workout.
10 years later, and it’s my main thing right now, and today, you’re wearing our expanded spandex. The latest sweatshirt we did from us is made out of recyclable bottles, so what I noticed is like since Hot Yoga, the amount of bottles that you go through, you recycle, enough bottles to make 10,000 shirts.
